Sailing from Pulau Langkawi (Malaysia) to Koh Phuket (Thailand) in March 2006 aboard the Racing Yatch 'Pytheas Aura', with Captain Reinhart and 3 other crew. It was an experience not to be forgotten. I got to learn more sailor's knots and get down and sweaty working like the guys.. It was great just being at sea, with nothing else around us... just the sea, the vessel, and us! The night we slept between 2 islands in the Andaman Sea with nothing else around was a feeling I will never forget... 2 of the crew slept in the cabin downstairs, 2 more on deck and I tied my trusty fisherman's hammock up on deck while a GREAT night's lullaby rocked me to sleep.......! and the next morning, the sunrise and the clarity of the beautiful waters around the islands was a perfect wakeup view! sigh!
